Daniel Stenberg
Daniel Stenberg is a Swedish software developer best known as the creator and lead developer of cURL, one of the most widely used data transfer tools on the internet. He has worked at Mozilla and wolfSSL, is active in the IETF with contributions to HTTP/2, QUIC and several RFCs, and has received major Swedish engineering honors including the 2017 Polhem Prize and the 2025 IVA Gold Medal for his contributions to open source software and internet infrastructure.
